Roy Shirlaw Managing Director
Roy has been running the business since his father Les passed away in 1985 and prides himself on the high level of personal service that his family business offers and has grown the business to the level that you see it at toady.
An experienced road racer in the 70's Roy is well known and respected throughout the U.K both in business and racing circles.
Roy is still hands on in the business on a day to day basis and is at his happiest meeting his customers and their needs.
Neil Simpson General Manager
Neil joined the team in Nov 09 as General Manager and brings a wealth of experience gained whilst working as a senior manager in the Aberdeen Motor trade with a number of quality brands such as Volkswagen, Audi, Nissan & Renault .
His long association with Motorbikes in the Aberdeen area started as a youngster building bikes in the school holidays at Cheyne's Motorcycles where his father Bill was the manager and upon leaving School starting his apprenticeship before moving into sales at Cheyne's and Ian Kirk's .
Neil was co-owner of Scott.Simpson Motorcycles in Aberdeen through the late 1990's and has been a bike enthusiast and a Shirlaw's customer for many years.
Donald Stephen Sales Manager
Donald has been with the Shirlaw family since 1986 and has seen a huge change over the years in both the industry and of course the development of the bikes.
Priding himself on maintaining a personal service he goes to great length to ensure that his customer gets the machine that suits their needs and tailors a package to suit them personally.
Donald is a keen classic motorcycle enthusiast and has an enviable collection of restored machines.
Dawn Shirlaw-Duff Office Manager
Dawn joined the family business in 2006 having gained several years experience in the oil industry in Aberdeen.
No stranger to the motorbike world Dawn heads up the admin side of the business working in the office to ensure that all the paperwork and accounts are kept in order.
Craig Shirlaw Sales Specialist
Craig joined the family business in 2007 initially as a mechanic before moving into sales.
He served his time with Aberdeen Audi and also worked in the oil industry for a period.
His passion is road racing and was runner up at East Fortune. He was recently awarded the 'visitors award - quickest non Irish rider' at the Mid-Antrim road races in 2009. Craig will be competing in the Irish Road Races in 2010.
Colin Williams Sales Specialist
Coin served his time with Shirlaws and is a long serving member of the team . He has gained experience with other local bike shops McGowans and Scott.Simpson before returning home to Shirlaws initially back in the workshop before progressing into his new role in the sale dept.
Colin competes at Scottish track events on his ZX6-R.
