Whether your bike is new or used, we offer Extended Guarantee cover for Honda motorcycles up to 20 years old.
When you get on your motorcycle, nothing should take away from the joy of the ride. That’s why every new Honda comes with a standard two year manufacturer’s warranty. And with our Honda Extended Guarantee, you can stay protected beyond those two years, avoiding unexpected repair costs as your motorcycle gets older. If a mechanical part fails, we’ll take care of the replacement - it’s as simple as that.
Choose the cover length that suits you – 12 or 24 months.
Motorcycles up to 6 years old will be covered against all electrical and all mechanical components. The total value of all claims is limited to the purchase of the motorcycle.*
Motorcycles 6 to 20 years old will be covered against listed components, with a maximum of £3,000 per claim (unlimited number of claims allowed)*

The best thing about a Honda Extended Guarantee is that we don’t restrict the amount of miles you can ride during the cover period.
There’s no limit on how many times you can make a claim, so you’re free to claim whenever you need to*.
Your motorcycle is looked after by Honda trained technicians using the latest equipment and Honda genuine parts, helping to protect your warranty.
You can choose how you’d like to pay for your Extended Guarantee – either monthly by direct debit, or in one simple upfront payment.
If you sell your motorcycle, the Extended Guarantee stays with it and can be easily transferred to the new owner**, which may help increase its resale value.
Our Extended Guarantee includes UK and European Roadside Assistance for the duration of the plan. If you breakdown, we can be there to get you back on the road.
*Terms and conditions with exclusions apply. Full terms and conditions (together with which components are covered and excluded), please refer to the terms and conditions below.
**The Customer may transfer their rights and obligations to a new private owner under this agreement provided that the new owner notifies Honda Care Administration of the transfer within 14 days of the customer having transferred the motorcycle to the new private owner.
Do I still have to service my motorcycle?
Yes, for your Extended Guarantee to remain valid, please make sure your motorcycle is serviced in accordance with the manufacturer’s service schedule, and at a Honda authorised dealership.
When can the Extended Guarantee be purchased?
For Honda motorcycles between 0 and 6 years old with fewer than 50,000 miles on the clock, our all mechanical and all electrical cover can be purchased at any time. The total claims limit for this cover is equal to the motorcycle’s purchase price. Honda motorcycles aged 6 to 20 years with fewer than 50,000 miles are eligible for listed component cover. The overall claims limit is also equal to the motorcycle’s purchase price; however, each individual claim under listed component cover is capped at £3,000.t.
If I sell the motorcycle, what happens to the Extended Guarantee?
The Extended Guarantee stays with the motorcycle
and could increase the resale value.
Does the Extended Guarantee cover wear and tear items?
